In this meditative day workshop you will learn to how to draw animals according to the traditional Tibetan thangka tradition (scroll paintings of Buddhas and Mandalas).

The animals that are depicted on thangkas are for example deer, yaks, fish, birds and peacocks.

In addition to the drawing sessions you will learn everything about the meanings and symbolism of the animals in Tibetan Art.

The workshop is suitable for anyone, including beginners without any drawing experience.

Carmen Mensink is an internationally renowned painter of Thangkas, the traditional Tibetan scroll paintings of Buddhas and mandalas.
